We’re here for pregnant and parenting teens!

At Teen Clinic our policy of providing safe, confidential and non-judgmental services applies to everyone. Our staff can help pregnant teens to explore all the options that are available to them, and give local referrals based on the choices that they make.

We know that parenting teens can better access pregnancy prevention services when time, money and safety are not an issue. Our nurse practitioners are experienced in providing care to teen moms, helping them to choose the best birth control method so that they can delay another pregnancy until they are ready. For breastfeeding moms, we can recommend a birth control method that is safe to take while breastfeeding.

About HBC- For GENESIS clients ONLY!

Young people who are parents often have barriers (money, time, transportation) to accessing services and information that other youth do not. Teen Clinic provides a nurse who travels to the homes of participating GENESIS teen parents. There, she provides a health assessment, information, and an injectable method (the shot) of birth control to help already-parenting teens prevent another unexpected pregnancy.

Our Home-Based Contraception Program works with the GENESIS Program of the Boulder County Public Health to help make birth control more available to parenting teens.
